1. What are the cooking instructions for my Passione Italiana products?
Cooking instructions are generally on the labels of all the Just Italy products but also included here for you!
PIZZAS: Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees and cook your pizza for approximately 15 minutes. If you want your base crispier, leave for a further couple of minutes. Whilst pizzas can be cooked from frozen, we recommend defrosting first to ensure the base is crispier.
NUTELLA PIZZA: Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees and cook the base only for 6-7 minutes. Take base out and spread the Nutella evenly over the base.
ARANCINI & OLIVE ASCOLANE: These are best deep fried! Deep fry in hot oil for 5 minutes or until golden brown
PASTAS:
Plain non filled pasta: In a pot of boiling, salted water, cook pasta for 6-8 minutes.
Gnocchi and Filled pasta (eg. ravioli): In a pot of boiling, salted water, cook until the pasta starts to rise to the surface of the water. Once this happens, it indicates the pasta is cooked. Pasta can be cooked from frozen…no need to defrost.
FROZEN LASAGNE/EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA/CANNELLONI:
Small size: Oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes
Medium size: Oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes
Large size: Oven at 180 degrees for 60 minutes
To ensure the tray of food is warm in the middle, we suggest pulling it out at the allocated time and piercing the middle with a knife. If the knife comes out hot, your food is ready. If only warm or still cold, it will require further cooking.
SAUCES: We recommend defrosting and then heating in a saucepan or frying pan until hot.
MEATBALLS: Defrost and place in an oven-proof dish. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. Cover dish with foil and cook for 20-30 minutes.
2. If I order today, when will I get my products?
Just Italy are proud to use delivery partner HDS (Home Delivery Service) to deliver all their products. We deliver to Metro suburbs of Melbourne on a Wednesday.
3. Do you deliver interstate?
Unfortunately, we don’t deliver interstate yet but it’s coming….stay tuned and we’ll let you know once we do!
4. What’s the difference between online ordering and Porta a Porta?
PORTA A PORTA: This is where we have put together a schedule of suburbs we’re visiting on certain days. When you book this service, you are simply booking for us to come to visit you (and not placing an actual food order as such). We will be in touch on your nominated date to take your payment and order. This service is managed in-house by the Just Italy Team so you’ll be visited by one of our lovely Italian boys!
The advantage of Porta a Porta is that there is free delivery with no minimum spend, we have a specific Porta a Porta Menu that includes some items you can’t get online (like ice-cream…YUM). From time to time we may also have other special Porta a Porta promotions.

6. What happens if my suburb isn’t listed as part of your Porta a Porta schedule?
We’ve tried as hard as possible to incorporate as many suburbs as possible. If you live close to a neighbouring suburb we’re visiting, just email ciao@justitaly.com.au with your suburb and we’ll let you know if it’s included as part of the visit. If not, feel free to place a regular online order instead.
